What is being a dad all about? It’s about understanding that your children need you. It’s a game of catch or an afternoon tea party. It’s soccer practices and school plays, and it’s about taking the time to listen, and the time to be there. It’s full-time job that requires a 24/7 Dad™!
That’s why we’ve created the 24/7 Dad™ Fatherhood Curriulum. Developed by fathering and parenting experts, 24/7 Dad™ focuses on the characteristics that men need to be an involved father 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This community-based program helps men develop the attitudes, knowledge, and skills they need to get - and stay - involved with their children.
What does a 24/7 Dad™ look like?
He’s a man who:
- Is aware of the significant impact he has on his family.
- Is aware of his emotions, capabilities, and limitations.
- Takes care of himself physically and spiritually.
- Is aware of his distinct significant role, and is a positive role model for his children. He’s a nurturing parent who understands the unique contributions that both he and mom bring to the table (the difference between “fathering” and “mothering”).
- Works to build healthy relationships with his family and others in his life.
24/7 Dad™ is available in a more basic format – 24/7 Dad™ A.M. – and a more in-depth version – 24/7 Dad™ P.M. Both curricula consist of 12 two-hour sessions that can be implemented in a group setting, or in a one-on-one home-based program. And, both programs include a session for fathers and mothers to come together and discuss what the dads have learned.

Is it easy to use?
Yes! 24/7 Dad™ includes everything you need to easily market, facilitate and evaluate your program. Each curriculum includes an activities manual, facilitator’s guide, handbooks the fathers can keep, evaluation tools, and quality marketing posters and postcards.
Our experienced staff can train you on how to successfully facilitate your program, plus, once you’ve purchased the curriculum, we provide you with ongoing technical assistance (like our quarterly 24/7 Dad™ Power Minute) to help you be as effective as possible.
