Hollywood Couple Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Welcome Third Child

Actors Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have a new family edition, with the news breaking earlier in the week via a source close to the couple. Already parents of two daughters, ages 6 and 3, the happy couple can now count a boy amongst their growing family.

People magazine got a confirmation from the source, with proud papa Ben taking to Facebook to announce the name of their son. “We are happy to announce on February 27, Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck.”

A recent late-night television appearance from the actress revealed that the proud papa wasn’t even expecting a boy, growing comfortable as a dad of daughters.

In January, Garner visited the "Jay Leno Show" where she shared that Ben was fine with another daughter. "I would have thought [he wanted a boy]. At first, I really thought so," Garner told Leno. "And then [Affleck] kind of said, 'Well, we have girls. We know how to do girls. My girls love me. I'm the big guy in the house.' So, now I'm not sure.”
