R&B Singer Eric Benet, Wife Manuela Welcome Newborn Daughter

Grammy-nominated R&B crooner Eric Benet is a dad once again after his wife gave birth to his newborn daughter, Lucia on December 21.

Benet and wife Manuela Testollini were wed over the summer, the second marriage for both. Benet gleefully took to his Twitter account to announce the arrival of little Lucia, posting a picture of his wife’s belly with a loving message inscribed on the side of her tummy with a leading tweet reading, “Happiest daddy in the world !!”

"Your heart beats because of our love/Our love beats stronger because of you,” read the message on his wife’s still pregnant belly. Benet continued further by tweeting, “Best thing in the world..sending your 3 day old baby back to sleep w lil kisses on her head at 3:20am :) so happy!!”

Benet is not a newbie at fatherhood after raising daughter India, now 20, from the age of 2, while mostly single. Benet was married to Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry between 2001-2005. Testollini’s ex-husband is Minneapolis music legend Prince.
