‘Twilight’ Actor Jackson Rathbone ‘Excited’ About Fatherhood

As Jasper Hale Cullen, one of the vampires of the wildly popular Twilight films, actor Jackson Rathbone has enjoyed quite a bit of attention as a result of the popularity of the series. Now, at 27, Rathbone and his girlfriend are embarking on a different sort of journey as new parents.

Rathbone and girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi are expecting their first child later this year and, according to a statement from the actor’s rep, the pair has been getting prepared for their impending parenthood. The couple is said to be “is thrilled and excited to be expecting their first child,” shared Rathbone’s rep.

No plans for marriage have been announced by the couple. Hafsadi reportedly met the actor-musician during a tour stop for his band 100 Monkeys. Sources say Hafsadi, 24, is five months pregnant. A Us Weekly source said Rathbone is serious about fatherhood, trading in his cars to purchase a Lexus SUV.
