What I Wish I Knew

What do men need to know before they become dads?  We asked the dads on staff what they wish they knew before they became fathers:

It Doesn't Have To Be Perfect.  People have been raising children for centuries.  Your kid will be okay if he's not sitting in front of a Baby Einstein DVD and learning to talk at four months.

Your Relationships Will Change.  Having a child really does change the relationship dynamics between you and your wife/baby's mom.  You have to learn how to relate to each other and work together all over again.

Your Time Is Not Your Own.  Children really do require a lot of time and responsibility.  They're worth every second, but you can't go off and do whatever you want to do whenever you want to do it.
