It's a New Year, Dad!
January 1 is no different than December 31—it's just another day—right? WRONG! A new year is a great opportunity to start fresh. To change some things. To right some wrongs. A new year brings about time to reflect on the past year, figure out what worked and what didn't, and look forward to new things and re-prioritize by setting goals to get better in the coming year.
Our New Years resolution at National Fatherhood Initiative is to help kids get the best chance for success by growing up with involved, responsible, and committed fathers. Just as we did last year, in 2013 we're committed to helping you be the best dad you can be!
Whether or not you like to make New Years resolutions, we encourage you to commit to making 2013 a year in which you become a New Dad! Even if you're already a great dad, a New Year is a good time to reflect and set goals to improve! Your spouse and kids will benefit from the extra investment you make in your most important role... being their Dad.
NFI is Here to Help!
Every week this month, The Father Factor Blog and the Dad Email will bring you tips and tools to help you to be involved with your family. We encourage you to take some time to think about each suggestion and consider how you can become a New Dad in the New Year.
2013 will bring new challenges and adventures for all of us. We're excited to partner with you to help you be the dad your family need you to be!
