What is the difference between Dadventures™ and Dadventures™ Preschool?

Dadventures™ is aimed at an older age range - children ages 6 - 9, while Dadventures™ Preschool has activities targeted for younger children, ages 3 - 5 years.

Is Dadventures™ easy to use?

Yes! Dadventures™ Preschool has everything you need to successfully facilitate these fun activities, including a detailed activities manual. Its the perfect program for organizations who don't know how to start engaging dads and its the perfect addition to any established fatherhood program. Facilitate just a few, or all of the activities - whatever fits with your program!

Why should I use Dadventures™?

It's an easy way to get dads involved directly with their children. Plus, research shows that dads tend to engage most with their children through play, so Dadventures™ Preschool allows you to encourage father involvement in a way that is natural for men. Plus, dads will learn about how their child develops and learns, while kids will learn important character traits, like honesty and empathy.

How long does it take to facilitate an activity from start to finish?

Each activity can be implemented from start to finish in only 15 minutes. Also, each activity has dads provide feedback on how their child practiced the character building skill at home, which helps you report on how you are involving dads in your parent teacher partnership efforts, as well.

Is there a practical benefit to using Dadventures™ Preschool?

Children participate with dad in learning positive character building skills such as sharing and practicing kindness to others, and the result is a classroom where children respect each other and authority. An additional bonus is that these key characteristics are reinforced at home and both mom and dad are further motivated to engage in your ongoing classroom events.
