The Power of Spirituality in Fatherhood™

Spirituality has many definitions and meanings. People’s view of spirituality is extremely personal and is influenced by their experiences and religious affiliation. Therefore, the objective of this workshop is not to debate the meaning of spirituality, and it is not to present a view of spirituality based on a specific religion, but to a.) help fathers understand the power that spirituality plays in helping them to become the best fathers they can be, and b.) help fathers understand the power that faith also plays in their fathering.

What is the Power of Spirituality™ Workshop?

This workshop helps fathers consider spirituality as an “other-centered” or “other-directed” concept that strengthens or “directs” the power of faith in the importance of fathers, and in fathers’ capacity to be good - and even great - dads. Fathers must begin to see the well-being of their children as more important than their own. This shift toward being other-centered is the “tipping point” that creates a cascade of changes in fathers.
