Melissa oversees Marketing, the FatherSOURCE Resource Center, and Graphic Design, as well as assisting with new Product Development/Design and Communication initiatives at NFI. Melissa is a Certified Inbound Marketer and leads the CRM and product-related data efforts at NFI. For over a year, she managed the Program Support team before dedicating her time back to a sole focus on marketing, customer relations, and product development and execution. Melissa received her BA from George Mason University in Communication, and also holds Certificates in Graphic and Web Design from Montgomery College.
Before NFI, Melissa managed the Humana project for MarketBridge, a leading Marketing Consulting firm providing go-to-market strategy and execution for Fortune 500 clients in the technology, healthcare, and financial industries. She also contributed significantly on marketing projects for Microsoft, SAP and Deluxe Corporation. For several years prior, she was Marketing Director for a McDonald's franchisee, where she managed local store marketing and community outreach for 18 McDonald's locations.
In her free time, Melissa volunteers for a Maryland based non-profit which trains and provides service dogs to military veterans. Melissa lives in Germantown, Maryland with her husband, and has an affinity for Maine Coon cats.
