Chief Partner Success Officer, National Fatherhood Initiative®

Erik Vecere is Chief Partner Success Officer at National Fatherhood Initiative® (NFI), where he has worked since 2002. His expertise includes community mobilization and capacity building around responsible fatherhood, fatherhood program training and technical assistance, grant and contract management, and helping agencies, funders, and community leaders strengthen their work with fathers.

Erik oversees implementation of NFI’s Community Mobilization Approach™ and Father Readiness Network Assessment™. His community mobilization work has helped support initiatives such as the Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative, Summit County Fatherhood Initiative, Fatherhood Clark County, Fathers Matter Metro Atlanta, and Prince George’s County Fatherhood Initiative.

Through NFI’s Father Readiness Network Assessment™, Erik has worked with organizations including the Kansas Department for Children and Families, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the Maryland Department of Health, the Georgia Department of Health, and the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County. These projects have included customized assessments, data analysis, recommendations, and support in developing Father-Friendly Action Plans.

Erik has trained thousands of social service professionals on NFI programs and capacity-building strategies, presented at more than 50 national and state conferences, and written dozens of practitioner-focused articles and resources. He has also supported training for NFI’s 24:7 Dad® and InsideOut Dad® programs.

Erik holds an associate degree in Letters, Arts, and Sciences, a bachelor’s degree in Communications, and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.
