What does it take to better support fathers, strengthen families, and build communities where both can thrive?

Those questions are at the heart of Together for Families 2026, a fully virtual conference hosted by the National Family Support Network (NFSN), October 20–22.

For National Fatherhood Initiative® partners, there’s a lot to explore. The conference brings together fatherhood and Family Support practitioners, Family Resource Centers, family leaders, public systems, researchers, policymakers, philanthropy, and national organizations from across the country.

Across three days, sessions will explore:

  • Father and family engagement
  • Relationship-building
  • Workforce development
  • Primary prevention
  • Family and community leadership
  • Cross-sector partnerships
  • Evidence and impact
  • Funding and sustainability

The conference also features national conversations on Positive Childhood Experiences, relational health, community-rooted supports, systems transformation, and helping families flourish before challenges become crises. Featured speakers include Dr. Bob Sege, Dr. David Willis, Romero Davis, Dr. Christina Bethell, Dr. Melissa Merrick, and Jerry Milner.

One of the biggest benefits for fatherhood professionals is the chance to learn from people working across the broader Family Support field while also bringing the fatherhood perspective into those conversations.

Strong father engagement depends on relationships, partnerships, effective organizations, and systems that recognize fathers as integral members of families. Together for Families offers practical learning and fresh perspectives that can help strengthen that work.

And because the conference is fully virtual, individuals and teams can participate from anywhere without the added cost or logistics of travel.

Register now for Together for Families 2026 and join three days of virtual learning, connection, and practical ideas you can bring back to your work with fathers and families.
