The FRPN seeks to:

  • Promote rigorous evaluation of fatherhood programs.
  • Expand the number of researchers and practitioners collaborating to evaluate these programs.
  • Disseminate information that leads to effective fatherhood practice and evaluation research.

Webinar Title: Measuring Economic Security Outcomes in Fatherhood Programs 

Date: Tuesday, May 17, 2016

Time: 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. EST 

Most fatherhood programs seek to improve economic security for participants and their children. This Fatherhood Research & Practice Network webinar will explore how outcomes, such as employment, earnings, child support payments and financial well-being, are measured using self-reports and agency records.

The challenges associated with generating reliable information using each approach will be addressed. FRPN will also discuss qualitative assessments of economic well-being that focus on stable housing, food security and other day-to-day indicators.
